Free preliminary jet-fan layout

Send us the car park floor plans and Jetfans engineers will propose a preliminary layout of Wolter jet fans, estimate how many you need and show how air moves from supply to exhaust.

Layout request

You can send drawings in reply to our first e-mail.

What you receive

Layout drawing

Jet fans on the car park plan with airflow directions and zones.

Quantity and type

Approximate number and Wolter series (JFUO/JFRO, JFUC/JFRC or JFC) for the ceiling height and beams.

Recommendations

Preliminary supply and exhaust rates and the points worth checking with CFD modelling.

What we need from you

  • Car park floor plans (DWG or PDF) and at least one section
  • Positions of shafts, ramps, gates and fire compartments, if already known
  • Country and city, project stage and preferred timing

How it works

  1. Request

Fill in the form on this page.

  2. Drawings

An engineer contacts you and asks for the plans.

  3. Layout

We prepare the preliminary fan layout and equipment list.

  4. Review

We walk you through it and, if useful, propose CFD modelling and Wolter supply.

A preliminary layout is an engineering estimate to support decisions; it does not replace the design and calculations required by the codes of the country of construction.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

The preliminary layout is free. Full calculations, CFD modelling and the detailed design are agreed separately.

How long does it take?

It depends on the car park area and number of levels. We give a time frame once we see the drawings.

Can the layout be used in the design?

It is a preliminary estimate. In the design, the solution is confirmed by calculation and, for jet-fan smoke control, usually by CFD modelling.
