Purpose
GAES/GADS are designed for extract from small garages and car parks where the rules require two independent fans. The unit fits straight into the duct, and the outlet backdraft dampers stop air from flowing back through a stopped fan.
Design
Two direct-driven backward-curved fans sit in a casing of aluminium profiles and galvanised panels with mineral wool. The external-rotor motors have thermal contacts and separate terminal boxes; each fan’s speed can be controlled over the full range.
When to choose
- a small car park with ductwork;
- redundant extract is needed without a separate plant room;
- for higher airflow, choose the GAB / GAPF cabinets or the two-stage AXG.
