Purpose
TRZ/HRZ are fans for air handling units, cabinet fans and industrial ventilation. Wolter uses them in its own KB cabinet fans and in GAB car-park extract cabinets.
Belt drive
The IEC motor is mounted separately and drives the fan shaft through ISO-standard V-belts. The fan speed is set by the pulley ratio, and the motor can be serviced or replaced independently of the fan.
Impellers
- forward-curved (TRZ, TRE) — galvanised steel;
- backward-curved (HRZ, HRE) — aluminium;
- polypropylene (HRZP).
Impellers are balanced to Q2.5 per VDI 2060, and the outlet flanges follow DIN 24193.
Range
The manufacturer’s programme covers airflow up to 150,000 m³/h and pressure up to 3,500 Pa. For smaller airflow without a belt drive, consider ERS / DRS.
