Ventilation tasks in public buildings
Shopping centres, offices, hotels, schools and hospitals share high occupancy, many room types and strict safety requirements. A building’s ventilation system includes central air-handling units and dozens of individual fans: for toilets, kitchens, plant rooms, car parks and smoke control.
Wolter equipment for public buildings
- Roof fans RH/RV/RVS — exhaust from toilets, kitchens and plant rooms; RVH — for hot air with the motor out of the airstream; RVHT — 400 °C smoke exhaust.
- Centrifugal fans — from compact direct-drive units to belt-driven fans up to 150,000 m³/h; KAF/KAT boxes for kitchen extract.
- Duct fans for rectangular ducts and inline tube fans for local systems.
- Cabinet fans — where quiet operation matters: hotels, offices, healthcare.
- Smoke exhaust fans — for atria, corridors and car parks.
For offices, schools and clinics with air-quality requirements, Himpel HueVen EGI commercial ERVs (up to 1,100 m³/h) and floor-standing HueVen S units with HEPA filtration are a good fit.
Substitution in the schedule
Projects are often designed around another manufacturer’s equipment. We select Wolter fans with equal or better airflow, pressure, noise and power data and prepare a comparison table for the design engineer.
Operation
For existing buildings we offer replacement of worn fans, upgrades to variable-speed drives and maintenance.
