What is inside

  • Smoke exhaust fans: EN 12101-3 classes (F300 — 60 min, F400 — 120 min) and what to check on the data sheet.
  • EAEU certification: in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, smoke exhaust fans need a TR EAEU 043/2017 certificate based on tests in an EAEU-accredited lab; EN 12101-3 documents alone do not replace it.
  • Local codes: the building and fire codes of the country of construction (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) — what to request from the lead designer.
  • Daily ventilation: CO dilution design, sensors, speed stages, zones.
  • Fire mode: scenarios, start-up sequence, power supply and cables, protection bypass in fire mode.
  • CFD justification: which scenarios and criteria to set and what the report should contain.
  • Inputs a jet-fan layout calculation needs.

This checklist is a reference aid and does not replace a project design. Check code requirements against the current editions in the country of construction.
