What we consider
- Duty point — airflow and pressure at the real system resistance, not just nominal values.
- Modes — daily ventilation, smoke exhaust, pressurisation; number of speeds and control.
- Fire rating — F300 or F400 to EN 12101-3 for smoke exhaust fans.
- Noise — permitted levels indoors and outdoors, need for silencers.
- Installation conditions — indoors or outdoors, ambient temperature, corrosive media, seismic zone.
- Power supply — voltage and frequency, starting currents, inverter operation.
Schedule substitution
If the design uses another manufacturer’s equipment, we select Wolter fans with equal or better data and prepare a comparison table: airflow, pressure, power, noise, dimensions and weight. This makes approval easier for the engineer and comparison easier for the client.
Timing
A typical selection from a schedule takes 1–2 business days. For car park jet-fan systems the selection comes with a preliminary fan layout.
What you receive
- Selection table with duty points
- Data sheets and performance curves
- Comparison with the original schedule (for substitutions)
- Quotation with lead times
