Wolter AEQ / ADQ / AER / ADR compact axial fans

Small axial fans for general ventilation, air conditioning, cooling and drying. The impeller sits on an external-rotor motor and the speed can be controlled over the full range.

Sizes
250–630

Purpose

AEQ/ADQ/AER/ADR are used for general ventilation, in air-conditioning and cooling systems and for drying. The plate-mounted models fit into a wall or partition; the round-cased AER/ADR fit into a duct.

Design

The impeller is mounted directly on the external-rotor motor. The galvanised steel blades are painted and the impeller is balanced to G2.5. The motor has thermal contacts, and the speed can be varied over the full range with a transformer or electronic controller, which makes setting the airflow during commissioning straightforward.

When to choose

  • a small axial fan is needed for a wall, partition or duct;
  • no fire rating is required — for smoke exhaust use AXV / BXV in F300/F400 versions;
  • smooth speed control matters.
