Purpose
TN/HN are designed for clean or lightly contaminated air in light industry and building ventilation.
Design
The impeller sits directly on the shaft of a standard IEC motor. On F fans the motor is flange-mounted (B5); on Q fans it is foot-mounted (B3) to a square side plate. The TN impeller is galvanised steel with forward-curved blades; the HN impeller is seawater-resistant aluminium with backward-curved blades. The casing is galvanised, painted or powder-coated on request.
Limits
The medium may be −30 to +60 °C and the ambient air −20 to +40 °C. Voltage speed control is possible for motors up to frame size 100. For hot and contaminated air, consider the KAF / KAT boxes with the motor out of the airstream.
