Purpose
EK/DK are used in rectangular ducts in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The backward-curved impeller on an external-rotor motor can be speed-controlled over the full range.
Versions
- insulated EKS/DKS — for lower noise;
- twin (ZW) and triple (TR) models with several fans;
- explosion-proof Ex stb with speed control.
When to choose
For comparison, see the forward-curved EKN / DKN series. For car-park extract by two independent fans there are dedicated GAES / GADS units.
