Purpose
JFUC and JFRC are used where high thrust per fan is needed: car parks with large spans, long driveways and high exhaust rates. Fewer, more powerful fans simplify cabling and controls.
Design
The cylindrical casing acts as a silencer along its full 1,800 mm length. The two-speed motor gives an economical low-speed ventilation mode and full thrust in fire mode. The blade pitch of the cast aluminium impeller is set at standstill to the design thrust.
Guide vanes on the discharge side tilt the jet downwards, helping the flow pass under downstand beams and preventing the jet from clinging to the ceiling.
When to choose JFUC / JFRC
- 50–85 N of thrust per fan is required;
- headroom allows a round casing up to 506 mm in diameter;
- flow reversal is needed — choose JFRC.
For low ceilings, consider JFUO / JFRO or the centrifugal JFC.
