Bishkek is building residential complexes and public buildings, increasingly with underground car parks. The mountainous terrain makes road tunnel ventilation and other infrastructure projects relevant.
Conformity assessment
Kyrgyzstan is an EAEU member, so the union’s technical regulations apply. Smoke control fans require a certificate under TR EAEU 043/2017; documents issued in any EAEU country are valid throughout the union. We confirm the documents for each item at selection.
Design considerations
- Seismicity. Bishkek and much of the country lie in high-seismicity zones, so fan supports are designed for seismic loads (details).
- Cold winters and temperature swings — especially for tunnels and mountain sites.
- Tunnels. For longitudinal ventilation we select tunnel jet and axial fans rated up to F400.
How we work
Jetfans engineers handle calculations and CFD; supply within the EAEU is possible, and site work is done with local partners. We are looking for partners in Kyrgyzstan.
