Market and projects
Uzbekistan is one of the fastest-growing construction markets in the region. Tashkent is building new business and residential districts, hotels, shopping centres and transport infrastructure; Samarkand and other cities are adding tourism and public buildings. Underground car parks are becoming standard in modern complexes — and with them jet-fan ventilation and smoke control.
Codes and design review
Ventilation and smoke protection are designed to the urban planning norms and rules of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ShNK, KMK) and fire safety requirements. We prepare calculations and CFD justification for expert review and support the approval process.
Conformity assessment
Uzbekistan is not an EAEU member and has its own technical regulation system. Fire safety equipment falls under a national technical regulation, and conformity requirements are being reformed: some items are moving from mandatory certification to declarations. We confirm the documents for each item at selection, before the contract.
Design considerations
- Seismicity. Tashkent and much of the country lie in seismically active areas, so fan supports are designed for seismic loads.
- Hot summers. High summer temperatures matter for fan motor selection and for ventilating car parks and plant rooms.
- Dust. The dry climate calls for attention to supply-air filtration.
How we work
Jetfans engineers handle selection, calculations and CFD modelling, while supply and site work are organised with local partners — importers and installers. We are looking for dealers and installers in Uzbekistan.
